We understand federal and state policies regarding FBAs and BIPs.
We strongly believe that an FBA built on the student’s skills is the only way to develop an effective behavior intervention plan.
In addition to analyzing problem behavior, we assess multiple skill domains, an ecological assessment, and information from home in order to form a comprehensive view of the whole child.
Our behavior intervention plans have that strong foundation from quality, strengths based FBAs.
We provide your teachers with evidence-based strategies proven to increase skills while reducing problem behavior. But handing someone a plan and saying, “Here you go! Just do those things and you’ll be all set!” is NOT the way to help teachers or students.
Instead, we spend time working the plan with the teacher in the classroom as the behavior is happening. We use evidence-based coaching to make sure those evidence-based strategies are put into place.
